By 2008 MasterDrive expanded its field of operation to cover the African continent. In South Africa MasterDrive has dedicated branches in the country’s three main centres: Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. If certain requirements are met, MasterDrive will send trainers to your place of work to help your company save on the time and costs of travelling to our offices.

In addition to delivering internationally proven defensive driving courses, MasterDrive also offers advanced driver training required by legislation. This includes those required to transport dangerous goods and operate forklifts. The bespoke courses are also available to corporates and emergency services, all with a view to changing and developing driver behaviour.

The company has a proven track record with a number of South Africa’s top 500 companies. This ensures it is a viable operation providing a platform for rolling out its own BBBEE transformation program that contributes toward the well-being of all South Africans. MasterDrive has level 2 BBBEE accreditation.

MasterDrive also boasts a proud record of supporting a number of NPOs whose drive is to educate road users on safety. This is with the objective of enhancing the profile of changing behaviour by whatever reasonable means MasterDrive can promote and offer. These include, but are not limited to, psychometric assessments, on-road assessments and corporate safety events.

Events that MasterDrive has participated in the past include:

  • An annual Transport Month event in aid of various charities
  • The training of Miss South Africa on hijack extraction
  • Working with Miss World 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters on her Empowerment campaign
  • Mandela Day initiatives at various charities and events
