10 Golden Rules in a Hijacking Situation

Don’t be a hero. Remember to:

  1. Remain calm
  2. Avoid sudden movements
  3. Avoid eye contact, except to identify
  4. Follow the hijacker’s instructions
  5. Remove children and move away from the vehicle
  6. Note details about the hijacker: clothing, vehicle, direction
  7. Stay alert and aware of your surroundings
  8. Keep doors and windows closed and locked

Hijack Management Training course

An interactive workshop that goes beyond awareness, giving participants the practical, behavioural and psychological skills to manage a carjacking situation through scenario-based exercises.
