Defensive Driver Training |
 | Defensive Driver Training was developed with a careful analysis of the most common accident types and the most dangerous situations on the road. As an organization committed to road safety and the reduction of costly accidents we appreciate the value of specialised training.
We have sought advice from police and insurance investigators about what attitudes and skills were needed to combat these situations, and how they could be developed in average drivers. Through this investigation one thing became clear: The skills and attitudes needed to be a safe driver can be developed in every driver, through hands-on training.
Advanced Driver Training is the product of that research, a curriculum of hands-on training with professional feedback that teaches average drivers to be great, and great drivers to be better.
In our Advanced Driver Training program, participants learn the following essential skills: - Defensive driving techniques

- Speed and Vision control
- Spatial awareness /Backing up
- Hazardous conditions
- Decision making as a component of driving
- Personal risk assessment
- Proper hand placement and seating
- Emergency braking (including ABS)
- Lane change
- Dealing with distractions
- Making quick decisions
